We would like to personally welcome you to our America’s Best Karate, Black Belt Leadership Academy blog. At this time we would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation for choosing our program for your child’s personal development. We realize that there are many other sports or activities you could have selected; yet you chose our academy. For that we are very grateful and we will do our best to use martial arts training as a tool to help your child excel in all areas of life, not just here at the academy, but at home and in school.
By the time your child proudly ties a Black Belt around his or her waist for the first time, the martial arts skills will be second nature. In addition to the speed, power and agility, your child will develop confidence, personal discipline, self-esteem, focus, intensity, and determination. Most importantly, these priceless qualities will stay with your child for life.
In the pursuit of Black Belt Excellence your child will learn some very important life lessons. Earning a Black Belt and becoming a Leader teaches your child that life’s inevitable challenges and set backs are not insurmountable and can be overcome with a positive attitude, hard work, self-discipline, and a strong belief in one’s self. These are the very same character skills that are necessary to achieve the rank of Black Belt. A child who has the perseverance, discipline, self-confidence, self-esteem and the ability to focus on the goal of earning a Black Belt and becoming a Leader – can do anything he or she may set their mind to.
